MotherSOY® High Protein, Whole Grain Pancakes

Here is our Special Recipe for anyone who wants to raise funds with "Pancake Days". This is a healthy, high-protein, low-carb, low-fat pancake alternative that will be a big hit!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup unbleached flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
2 scoops MotherSOY® "Essential Protein"
2 tsp. non-aluminum baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cups soymilk or water
2 tbsp. oil
Instructions:
1. Mix ingredients together
2. Pour in the soymilk or water and the oil, stirring until moistened
3. Spoon onto a hot griddle
4. Cook on both sides until browned

High-Protein Blueberry Waffles
|
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup skim milk
1 egg (or substitute)
1 scoop MotherSOY® "Essential Protein" Powder
2 tbsp. sugar or substitute
1 tbsp. soy (vegetable) oil
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup frozen blueberries
Instructions:
1. Heat waffle iron. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Combine buttermilk baking mix, egg, skim milk, "Essential Protein", soy oil, sugar and cinnamon in large bowl.
3. Fold in blueberries.
4. Pour mixture onto waffle iron in batches. Cook until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle. Makes about six 4-inch waffles.

Ingredients:
1 cup apple cider
1/4 cup orange juice
1 scoop MotherSOY® "Essential Protein" Powder
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground allspice
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan
2. Cook over low heat 10 minutes, stirring occasionally

Cinnamon-Apple Oatmeal
|
Ingredients:
1 cup oats
1 1/4 cups water
1/2 cup apple juice
2 tbsp. chopped dried apples
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 scoop MotherSOY® "Essential Protein"
Optional Ingredients:
Sweetner of your choice
Chopped walnuts, almonds or pecans
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients (except the MotherSOY® "Essential Protein" and optional ingredients) in a large microwave-safe bowl.
2. Cook in microwave for 90 seconds
3. Stir in "Essential Protein" and sweetener. Add water to achive desired consistency. Enjoy!
